IndulgenceA Poem by Tom MollPeople come and people go In and out of my life, and I know Some are harder to let go Some are not hard at all Some left memories I can so vividly recall And some did not Some of the people I forgot And over the years I learned to live for myself Because what do we have besides our self? Nothing. So I live life without tire I live life through my own desire I live for life’s lust and fire I live for the pleasure of pleasure Because in the end, what else is there to treasure? In indulging in sin, or what some see that as What else is there besides the memorable memories one has? Of life, of lust, of happiness and trust What means more, what means less? I don’t know, so let’s let our lips press And let our bodies express Our deep rooted desire Of the lust, of the passion to acquire The sensual pleasures that life has to give Let’s make memories we want to relive © 2011 Tom MollReviews
