A Poem by Taylor Nicole

The canvas draped over the usual bright blue. It swallows everything in its path; but yet there they are, porcelain against the midnight backdrop. The window is frost beneath a warm touch. Contrasts follow us everywhere we go. Simplicity at great lengths becomes elegance. Thats what this Is, simply elegant, my head seems clear now, but if I look away the spell will break and reality will crash over me. I convince myself there is no good reason to abandon my trance. One topic swirl around my mind, the hands of time stay ticking in true never ending circular patter. I watch as they start to fade, the canvas being stripped away, layer by layer.
