The Unknown

The Unknown

A Poem by Mystery Wanderer

I’m sitting here,

Staring.

My eyes wander around the room in confusion,

Why am I here?

No one is giving me answers,

No one is caring.

What are they doing? I feel something near my ear

My vision fades to black, my vision has dissipated.

What is that loud, agitating sound? My heart isn't beating.

They've been awaiting this, they felt anticipated.

I feel no life, my life is fleeting.

The sound, everyone, everything stops,

I see a light, I’m drawn.

My body feels limp, it drops.

I feel dead, I’m gone.
