Am i the reason we cant be close?

Am i too abrasive?

Am i too pathetic?

When i think about it,

you've changed,

you've given up on yourself,

settle for less than less.

Even when u could have the best.

You say i''ve changed.

You dont like that i like other people.

You think its awkward,

and you keep things from me.

Pretend your innocent,

think your perfect,

think its us.

We think its you.

Your all new,

and no one likes this new you,

except the people you've changed to please.

I justcant stand it!

but now i've realized...

it's you.

Not me.

i like this but can i make a suggestion? the last two lines
"its you
not me"
saying that would make the last line stick in my head more. poweful poem, people change and they like to look at others instead of themselves instead of realizing that EVERYONe changes and not always for the better.
