Black Sheep

Black Sheep

A Poem by tmac1124
"

Dialogue between inner voices

"

“Black sheep”

                Be still my heart,

“Black sheep”

                Be gone.

“Black sheep”

                Be still dear heart,

“You should have died when you were young!”

Author's Note

This piece, while short, is profoundly personal. It is the dialogue between my inner voice and the taunting of one who should have cared.

It is not with a light heart that I share it, but in the search of one.
