Home line ride

Home line ride

A Poem by Betty Redd
"

Just a poem about leaving the past behind and moving into the future.

"
I blended into the crowd .
Stepping down into a side street
Eyes searching for an escape door.

Eyes of blue
glasses red noticeable
for a minute of expression

Planks laid against the wall
ready for the trio
for the trailer
My vision clears of tears

pain drips along my veins
as a haze
getting out of the street
binding my ride
for a home line ride.
