Day Dreams

A poem for lovers

 

Lovely face, etching a trace of sensual desire.

Candy kiss, eternal bliss in a love that you inspire.

Sexy eyes, blue as the skies, mesmerizing me.

Silky hair, like the air, so light, so soft, so free.

 

When all around me crumbles,

my heart cries out for you

and faith fills my every thought

with all that we’ve been through.

 

When the whole world spins around me,

and just seems out of control,

it’s you my spirit longs for

to satisfy my soul.

 

You’re my everlasting love,

come to me in my dreams;

satisfy this wanton heart,

with all my mind esteems.

 

Oh so sweet, my heart beats, thinking just of you.

Softest skin, passion begins, and demands it’s due.

Divine love, from above, contentment--my creed.

Perfect peace, sweet release as my soul is freed.
