My Treasure

A love poem

 

Your love is a treasury where I draw my wealth,

I drink at the fountain of your charms.

Your strength holds me up when I am in poor health,

I feel the warm embrace of your arms.

 

The joy in your heart keeps me going through the day,

I sing victory songs so sweet.

The power of your wisdom shows me the way,

in your presence I feel complete.

 

I cherish the peace you have shown unto me,

you fill me with tranquil delights.

Your faith has been an inspirational key,

to give me strength every night.

 

Patience and virtue emanate from your soul;

you fill me with internal bliss.

Your safety gives me comfort and makes me whole,

I feel warm and alive with your kiss.

 

In you I have found my treasure--my song;

together we two are one flesh.

Forever with you is where I will belong,

our sweet love eternally fresh.
