Come Away With Me (Wonderland)

Come Away With Me (Wonderland)

A Poem by Violet Rain
"

My ideal world.

"

Won't you come away with me?

Follow me down into the rabbit hole

Into this world where there is no hatred

No prejudice and no ignorant minds that spout hateful nonsense

Only love, peace, you and I

Where I can reach the sky and feed you cotton candy clouds instead of ozone pieces

And I can learn their sugary sweetness vicariously through your kiss

In this place where we can drink from the rivers of milk and honey instead of polluted water

Language barriers don't exist and I can whisper sweet nothings to you in Japanese

This land where the trees have voices and you can hear their heartbeats

They sing because they know they will not be sacrificed for the sake of a shopping mall

This is where childhood thrives, where fairies do exist and everyone's a little bit 'mad'

Where there are only showers of shooting stars, not shrapnel

This world where everyone's vision is technicolor, not monochromatic

We can dance without stumbling over our fallen loved ones

And I never have to worry about losing the light of your eyes to a war

So please, won't you come away with me

To my wonderland that even Alice would be envious of?
