The dark night shone like a climax Measuring time

and floating before the moon as a goddess

Interrupting the flow the stars clicked and glanced,

giggled and played Rebellion games Whales bucked

and rolled whooping and whistling at gravity Magnets

moaned under the strain of humans exploring So Sure

the sun spelled words in hieroglyphics the bible

ruptured under the strain of Priests and poets colliding

in ego mass Collected from spaceships Returned and

ruptured by the suns exploding and burning black holes

We're sorry we're really sorry It wasn't meant to be like this

There’s meant to be order And we only found chaos

We just thought too much Green masses collided scolded

and drowned Seas gasped for air Not really knowing who

to turn to The earth spun, the north pole danced South

saturated glossed over and icy Not an ever rest just an

infinite longing Humans reaching mountain tops as if they'd

reached all meaning While thin Africans licked their tears

to last gasps of water Pale wretched They sank 'fore LC's

wisdom like a stone Rocks rocked and quaked lava'd and

Cracked Dust to ashed up suffocation, trauma man made

ground to a halt Only instinct sheltered by the trees

Had gone reptilian bye now am going reptilian Saved

About
I've written poetry since my teens. I am now 50+. I have changed my style over the years and I read my old poetry with some embarrassment - as I will in 10 years time when I read the poetry I write no.. more..
