LET ME BE

LET ME BE

A Poem by shunik
"

I was lost

"
Soft tender lips
let be thy wine,
to your life's so cruel
may I be your shoulder?
cuddle on the rainbow
let days be ours,
so time passed care not I
to be your history,
tremblin' as the wind
let me be your breath,
between your lies
the truth be I
touch me not to my soul for
I afraid beggin' you to be real,
intertwine with existence
still I mere livin' a dream.

A terrific poem, and one of the reasons I leave the RR button turned on, most of the time. Handled with beauty and style. A real banjo of a job

Once again, you did very good with doing your poem. Imbued with emotions and the right choice of words... just a very good piece to read.

A amazing poem. The lines are strong and the story feel like a wish. No weakness in this poem. I like poetry where you must read between the lines to get visions and thoughts. This poem does. A outstanding poem.
