MERE NOT

MERE NOT

A Poem by CHRIS ANDES
"

to a tall tree

"
your eyes seemed attached
with those unseen memory
such thoughts of lies
collide into your soul,.

remind not of the consequence,
each dream has its end,
every glimpse have to fade,
your eyes need not close.

ain't no pain leave forgotten,
escape the fact might not be an answer,
you and fantasy never unite,
the dream may reveal its dust.

dwell not to the illusion of pain..
mere is the beauty..
cuddle up unto the breeze
..mere not..

I like the wisdom in this poem. I like the use of the language also.
"dwell not to the illusion of pain..
mere is the beauty..
cuddle up unto the breeze
..mere not.."
Thank you for the outstanding poem.

This has an oddly spacial feel to it for me. It's certainly ethereal...! Very Emotional! Very Good!

A wonderfully complex tale. Very powerful and filled with ideas and emotions. I enjoyed a lot, even though it left my head in a spin. Sometimes a spin is a good place to be.

there's a contracting thought when i read it..it seems that...oh never mind,haha.. like the flow...

like tha stanza:

ain't no pain leave forgotten,
escape the fact might not be an answer,
you and fantasy never unite,
the dream may reveal its dust.

I really get this... Is it me, or am I just reading some gems tonight! I feel connected to your message. The imagery is mystifying, and very much a riddle I know well! Well done.
