DARKER DAYS

DARKER DAYS

A Poem by CHRIS ANDES
"

6.30.16

"
Life's but a mere shadow,
A chance awaits between
each nestled bead of rain,

Such turns of hands holdin'
Into mem'ries fading,
that pages of laughter
Within a broken stare

Doubt not, to such tickled hope.

It's always good to hold onto hope, even if it's just a sliver. Also good to hope for second chances, they're well worth it sometime.

I wonder of your "tomorrow" and how you "see" it.

no words can exactly describe tomorrow. thanks for the review.
Honest and direct thoughts about life. No a positive poem about hope. I enjoyed the poem. At work, I expect the worst always. So my days end-up okay. Thank you Christine for sharing the excellent poetry.
