ODE TO A RAINBOW

ODE TO A RAINBOW

A Poem by CHRIS ANDES
"

2014 - the last stare to the old centree.. .

"
that lures the sky's crimson hate,
endless kaleidoscope between gray and dark
that brightens the hopeless eyes.

Indeed I see a dream and a sea,
it flows an answer and a purpose
of what to look in a darkened path,
so in this widened acacia tree,
I sit to admire this lightened art
that draws the melody
beneath my heart.

I've read a few of your poems. Your wording is great and leaves me wondering about that Darkend path. I really like the style of your writing

A beautiful poem. I like the places and the thoughts.
"I sit to admire this lightened art
that draws the melody
beneath my heart."
