I faced changeA Poem by CHRIS ANDES5.18.14I've faced change between my bread in breakfast beneath my bed at dawn, when moonlight fires like a magnet of daydreams, I've weep change, beside the car at work, nobody I was. Drying leaves in mid-September behind my back I broke the wall of isolation. Like the song I adore, going home gives bliss, when steps echoed naive after the tantalizing rain, I've faced change fast shadows night, dance with the dust, for I will not lose grip in the symphony of night and day.
