"

"if you hear me this would you mind taking a seat?"

"
IN THIS SEAT
by: christine zapanta andes

is a four-footed novel of beginnings,
a blissful rest of uncertain mind
to a crowded walk of reminiscing.

I lied when i said
this seat was taken,
the empty space of broken echoes
to this blank craft of wood.

I, not for the words I spoke
to regret,
but a glimpse of caution
from the slap of a ridicule.

Vague and abstract like good poetry always is. I had to read it three or four times to grasp exactly what message you were trying to convey, but in the end I think I got it. You're have a unique way of putting things.

Very dramatic piece. The overwhelming feeling of solitude
was out of this world.

You are welcome.
the first stanza is missing the first line...

I found your work quite understandable and worth being heard. The inherent questions were good ones ...and I didn't laugh once.
