GREEN LEMON

...transcendentalism...

tiny stem towards the sky
with great spunky spiny thorns
has built the courage of
scented leaves
his upward dream
of rapid growth
seems so honorable
that even storms and thunders
hardened his soul
gleam the spines when
sunlight strike
behold the armor of
this warrior plant.

Nice daydream - and plants are truly amazing warriors, winning the fight for survival no matter the obstacles they have to overcome. They can make it through storms, extreme rain and extreme ardity... It's awe-inspiring.
