GlimpseA Poem by CHRIS ANDES..my last stare..heavy swifts of wind
flashes through my face from oft the window of the jeep travelling to the blank faces of the earth. uncared to life so ordinary like my dealings patterned each day, wishing for someone, to meet me halfway. Until that wish lift up to heaven thought of words sing in crimson joy uttered as music from angel's lyre. As speeding wheels then twist to turn, a blurry figure caught my vision walking down the endless road. Our loneliness both subside as our sight swiftly coincide 'tis a language can't be denied. Yet this joy seems like a glimpse even a tear leaves no time to shape as we depart and take each others fate. The cruel road continues to flow with darkened sky black as a crow cast on your figure that's now a shadow. Familiar cold air dried up my soul I know I'm a traveller and a fool who holds this memory only now as a dream. -musicfunk- © 2013 CHRIS ANDESAuthor's Note
