Whips to my StrengthA Poem by Tiss ProperInternal battle of not giving in to the ones that mean nothing.
She is impervious to all my hints.
And threatens my very solitude. Ohh! but how she tempts. And weakens my waning fortitude. The thoughts of her lips are like whips to my strength. And I am weak. I've said 'no' so many times before. Yet, must I continue? Hard to remember what I said 'no' for. Is it so important to hold true? The thoughts of her hips are like whips to my strength. And I am weak. I ask myself why I so boldly hold back, And no real reason finds me. Every second comes another attack, While I'm stuck to question in misery: "What do I desire more, the flesh or the mind?" Sometimes that answer is hard to find. Cause thoughts of their lips are like whips to my strength. And I am weak. © 2011 Tiss ProperAuthor's Note
