Without Consequence

Without Consequence

A Poem by Choosing Life

He tiptoed across the subject,

Not wanting to stir the emotions he had created.

Her heart was clogged by the lies.

Both had decided goodbye was better.

She needed explanations.

He, on the other hand, needed the break to be clean.

Sever the ties leaving behind no strings.

She gave up--damaged.

He moved on without scars.

This one is sad Choosing Life, not your usual style, however very good, very deep and well worded =)
