The Glory Of Zion

The Glory Of Zion

A Poem by Choosing Life
"

From a picture challenge

"

Breaking free and breaking out

Death thought it had me grounded

But I flourish

I rise.

I stretch

Beyond the grounds capacity

I reach higher to the point

I begin to break down that

That tried to break me.

I am free

Look at my green leaves

For my water springs flow from within

So I am never broken

Never lost and always open

To see the beauty that comes from above

To drench up the food of the Son

And rise higher

Till I touch each cloud

And make Him smile

My wilderness experience is the place I grow 4 the best

My desert surroundings are only a test

I bear fruit in and out of season

And even the droughts in my life come for a reason

I was planted so that harvest would come

Bountiful blessings can not be undone

I must look to the hills from whence my help comes

4 even when it seems I am in captivity

Freedom still exists for me

Mymind is renewed

Transformed into the fruit from His tree

There fore I am fruitful in any climate

Nothing is lost.

I am on assignment

So that through me

You might experience the Glory of Zion
