He Called You Man

He Called You Man

A Poem by Choosing Life
"

a testament of what eyes have not yet seen and ears have not yet heard

"

Rising next to My King

Heaven touched my heart

And gave you to me

I still can't believe

I am not in a dream

Because we are living one

You planted in me

Our daughters and sons

The perfect combination

Of our agape love

I smile as I touch

You

Resting so soundly

Next to your Queen

Still can't believe that I am She

Praying while laying holy hands

On your head

Anointing you as you do me

Time and time again

Waiting to let you enter into

The womb of soul

Precious Lover of my essence

My handsome Blessing

In beautiful sun baked skin

Darkened like the sweetest of berries

I taste you

In every tissue of my brain

The way you teach me Love

Shaping me with strong hands

Your back like the pyramids

Centuries of oppression can't knock you down

I hear you

Making it a pleasure to submit

My voice timid in your greatness

Allowing me to shape you when it is time

I bow and call you my lord

And you kneel with me in your arms

Raising my head high

Calling me your crown

As you take this family under your wing

Guiding us through

Feeding our son truth

Covering our daughter in love

You hold us in your hands

Making God proud

He Called you man

A very interesting perspective, considering that this comes from not just a woman; but a MOTHER. Your verse is soft and pure....pleasurable.

Well done (as usual).
