Wanting you!

Not knowing you

But needing you

Like breath

Holding you

In my chest

Kissing you

With my thoughts

You're not a dream to me

But my King to be

And I wait ready

To submit to you fully

And these days hold so much

That I wasn't meant to carry alone

And I write about you

As if your name and face have been revealed

And this love for you is more than real

It is divine

And you are on my mind

As days remind me you are missing from my life

I am sure it doesn't make sense

But I feel you through the distance

I look forward to when we physically meet

Spiritually you are already one with me

And if time is counted in Eternity

We have already spent years times infinity

Inside of each other's spirits

And my soul aches to know you here

Where time is real and I taste the tears

Of a soul longing to know her home

In the King God created to be her own

In me love lives waiting just for you....

Very moving, with a great sense of spirituality which makes the spiritual seem more vital than this little reality. Yet it is in this reality that the spirit finds itself for the moment, craving its like to complete its being. The notion of needing more for completeness rings strongly in this positive poem which builds up to a powerful ending and a beautiful final line.
