Done

Done

A Poem by Choosing Life
"

When Goodbye isn't freed, We both live in Misery

"

The room's cold shadows seem to warm me.

Your touch is arctic~

Our words and thoughts hidden,

From our ears and hearts refusal to listen...

Unwilling to jump ship,

We're barely living,

 In a house too small...

Awkward touches forced by obligation,

Make my skin crawl...

Nothing left here but hesitation.

Each breath stifled by regret.

And we aren't ready to say it yet...

Words wait on the tip of tongue,

Ready to come to the surface of an honest goodbye...

Still we cover our self in the lies

Telling concerned family and friends we'll be fine~

But love doesn't leave here anymore,

And some days I hate the thought of you...
