or would you allow

me the pleasure

to sit in your presence

and lay at your feet

and bask in your warmth

kiss your sweetness

until you forget

you don’t really know me

and I don’t really know you

would you

let me take you places

only fools rush into

and could we...

maybe...

just talk

until every hard place in our minds

becomes soft

and every fear that kept us

from loving fully

was erased

and we melted

into one beautiful being

would you grant me entrance

to your embrace

and light me with grace

as you taste my honesty

could you love every part of me

or would my intensity frighten you?

I wonder...

as I write to you in my mind

words that will never part from my lips

and actions that will never exist

beyond pen and tablet

do you know

 you have given my heart a new dream?

Your poem is like a mid-summer-night's spell. I go into the woods...it is warm...i sit on a mossy log...I hear a little voice...but see nothing...and then there she is...a beautiful wood sprite...smiling and beckoning and talking to me... And your poem would be what she would say. And I would sit there and be enchanted.
