Thougts of the Crazy

Thougts of the Crazy

A Poem by Cierra

Yelling in an empty room, one that’s never silent,

Lies spewed from a mouth that’s never honest.

My father blinking too much, whispering to the unknown.

My family ignoring the ever present insanity, of a lost childhood.

The infamous lies of being robbed when the money was all lost,

Spent on habits which will never die.

A man who shakes, sweats and shivers,

Paranoid of what his thoughts are saying.

A bitter “whatever” thrown out, proving nothing

In the never ending fight to show I don’t care, or that I don’t want to.

But, in talking to the one above, or the one in his mind, he’s trying to escape

The Thoughts of the Crazy.

And who am I to judge this crazy man whom I’ve always loved?

I feel sorrow for those who suffered in this.
