The End

The End

A Poem by Cierra

The time has finally come round,

that we all must bow down.

To the king of the grace,

yet where no mercy is found.

Fall to the earth,

with an unforgiving jerk,

for all that follows,

is the neverending pain

that's hard to swallow.

Never look up,

or unto thee,

because you'll never forget

what you're bound to see.

For on this day,

we bow before,

the single thing

that was vowed

to never come around

until the time

we were on the ground.

Thank you (:
i feel a semi-religious sense to this poem, but it also could be taken non-religious also.

the poem had a nice flow to it. i enjoyed the lines,

"for all that follows,
is the neverending pain
that's hard to swallow."

those were my favorite.
