learn to protect yourselfA Poem by MaCayla Maeeven if it is from yourself4-10-15 My creature is just another version of me. My mind in another human. Sort of like the way I have been feeling lately. It would protect me from my own two hands and each of my fingers. Tying my wrists behind my back, tilting my head up to see myself. Watch my bones swell and my stomach get too heavy for me to hold myself up. I finally fall onto the ground. For once my knees don't shatter, there's cushion there to keep them protected. It's scary when you start to recover.
