[untitled]A Poem by Galways i find myself back at the water a lake with a shore the overhead rumble of the A train alone again the tranquilty of the the water rushing to to the shore i realize that the sea is in love with the shore hands clasping holding but sand is porous and water is wet a continous embrace tha never lasts and the sea cries out its frustration while the beach slowly dies a sand particle at a time while the water does its enticing dance calling me let's play let's play knowing I can't swim © 2009 G |
