I want to hear your thoughts

I want to feel your arms around me

I want you

 

Your words travel to my mouth

And contort it into a twisted grin

Full of pleasure

 

Your jokes

Are the reasons for my quiet giggles

That fill my dark room at night

 

And I want to know more

I want more than the three hour conversations

That we share

 

But how can I ask for more

Without knowing

How much you want

 

How can I crave more of you

When I don’t know if you want more

Of me

 

I will pull my heart out of my chest

And hold it in my blood covered hands

Offering it to you

With that same twisted grin

 

Do you want my heart?

Do you want all that I am willing to give you?

Do you want me

Sorry I've been missing. Life has been hectic. My writing inspiration was lacking. Maybe this is the start of something. I don't know. I never know.

Love this. Describes perfectly how we are willing to give our all for something we love, desire.. sometimes feeling it's necessary

The ending is dramatic and bloody, but full of pathos and genuine emotions. a very well written poem about not knowing how much to give ones lover without knowing how much he wants to invest in the relationship. you write with honesty and i am sure that you are in love with a lover who is not very transparent about his commitment in the relationship. my only advise to you is that if at all this poem is autobiographical then, give all you have to the relationship and you will get more than you ever desired. probably he is also in doubt about the commitment of the poetess. Eisenstein's theory states that energy is neither created nor destroyed, bu is only transformed into a different form. fantastic writing. keep it up. sometimes read what i have written and give comments
