Find themselves

Racing through my veins

For my creator

Because of my creator

Thankful and grateful

Such a creature that is His

Writing the tablet of my moment

In a smile

A glance

An unnoticed stare

Shared worship sweeter than any kiss

More delightful than any man-made list

Of pleasures

Just dancing

And lifting praises to His name

Together

I couldn’t have asked for better weather

Or a better dancing partner

Or a better moment

Each moment

I’m near you

Fully cloaked in joy

And happiness

And never wanting to undress

Or miss

The very presence

That is Him in you

That is Him in you

That is Him in a child who loves his Father

And unashamedly shows and says so

Unwavering, constant, and true

Love follows those who endure

The rain

The pain

The trials

The stains

But the exchange for the moment

Is worth far more than rubies

And the thumping of this ruby heart

And the diamond in your eye

And the jewels that pour out

Each time we spend time breathing

Crying out and latching on soul to soul

Is nothing less than a heavenly gift

To be held and to behold

To treasure now and in the days of old ahead

I shout praises to the King

For blessing me

With the joy
