Soon, We all become Gone

Soon, We all become Gone

A Poem by Tinasha LaRayé
"

I will miss my sweet Biggamama

"

Soon we all become the pictures on the wall

The ones that never fall

And crack

Or need reframing

But get passed down when houses are sold

And belongings dispersed

Wills are read

And life is rearranged

Without you

Soon we all become the dust on the floor

The particles that never get touched

And washed

Or blown away

Remnants that prove we were once here

Stick to the floorboards

And breathe with the wood

And life breathes on

Without you

Soon we all become the sunset

The glow that never leaves

And hides

Nor fades

From our memories

But go on to spark the other side

And feed with love

While life grows on

Without you

Soon we all become the winter

The frost that never bites

And cries

Nor hurts

From the winds anymore

You kiss the fall goodnight

We step into spring’s light

And life blooms on

Without you

Sunset

Sunrise

And it’s cold

without you…

Oh my! This is a really beautiful and haunting poem. I really like the ending of each stanza. I am surprised that no one has left a review yet.
Great piece of writing!
