late geraniums

late geraniums

A Poem by Tinasha LaRayé
"

the world plummeting to it's demise...

"

& the world just keeps on

spinning like that

off it’s axis
out of it’s cranium

I smell the wind & feel

the tug, the pull

the yield of the earth

to it’s coming fate

like geraniums in autumn

plucked from the dirt

and replaced with

nothingness…
