Beautiful Lonely

Beautiful Lonely

A Poem by Tinasha LaRayé
"

surrounded by so many, yet alone. misery is the best friend of loneliness...

"

A single rose

Atop a single stem

Attached at head

Detached at end

She pricks her petal

On a thorny blade

Her only company

the live-short day

No tree to share

The sunlight with

No grass to graze

No rose to kiss

Held above

For looks of lust

Beauty matters none

When beauty sits alone

Beauty matters none

When beauty sits as one

Very true :)

Good Lord this is so simple but so beautiful! I actually love the simplicity of it... if you were to toss in a bunch of fluffy, colorful language it would be way too stuffy and tedious to read. This is wise, marvelous, and introspective. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
