Every-present...

Every-present...

A Poem by tinalouise
"

We spend lifetimes searching for something...

"

I can see you clearly now,
no hiding place
you're there
behind each eye
on each and every face.

It must be
that you've always been
there......
watching,
observing,
ever-present stare,

How have I missed you?
All of this time,
all of the searching
for your world...

...when you were always
right here,
in mine.

Always searching everywhere but inside. That would be me. And that is why this poem resonates. Loved the play on words in your title.

I only read and commented on a few of your posts before and I hope to remedy that now that we're here on the cafe.

Intriguing. . .Perhaps this ever-present awareness plays at ALL the roles. . . .

Besides being a perennially wise resonance, this poem reminds me of The Ever-Present Origin, by Jean Gebser, one of my favorite texts.

"What you're looking for/looks through your own eyes" goes an old song lyric of mine, in that vein.

"We spend lifetimes searching for something. . ." till eventually we see through the fallacy of the seeker.

But even Nondual Mind plays at emergence, at "otherness" -- else our dance of evanescent phantoms would not exist.

Cheerz to your poem, to "seeing" and "finding" and all that Kosmic jazz. . .;-)

Hee hee, Bea... you would find romance and Viper you would find a stalker! I found what I call the creator :)

Namaste,
Tina

Romance? I thought this was about a stalker.

Is there something wrong with me?

;)

Stirring!
