Feeling The Bern

A Story by Dr. Tim Williams
"

Voter fraud has been rampant in this years Presidential Primary.

"
In an age of technological marvels one would assume that when it comes to our democratic process where we exercise our Constitutional right to vote everything would go smooth as silk. However, that has not been the case not only in this years Presidential primary season but in other years when people go to the polls. But, what make this years primary season stand out is the very obvious and blatant maneuvers by the Democratic establishment to thwart the candidacy of Senator Sanders. In collusion with the main stream media this past primary season above all others has been ripe with corruption, fraud, suppressed voters and malfeasance perpetrated with due diligence in an all out effort to crown Hillary Clinton as the Democratic Presidential nominee.

While the puppets in the Democratic party along with a complicit media continue to ignore, deem almost irrelevant Clinton's past improprieties and the hard facts surrounding primary after primary have prematurely declared her the Democratic nominee. Practically every primary was rigged right from the start where voter suppression, voter fraud and a purged electoric  have all manifested into what many call crimes committed by the Democratic establishment to place Clinton as the heir apparent to succeed President Obama. It has been since the onset of this years primary season they have been doing everything they can to discredit and chastise the one person who has put together a national movement that resonates with the majority of the public.

It never ceases to amaze that today the United States is embroiled in such a quagmire of petty politics where we have Presidential nominated candidates that are both two of the worst candidates for a national office in recent history. And one is perceived as the least trustworthy to hold the nations highest office. And yet many of the voting public still places them on pedestals while the media meanwhile uniformly is in lockstep with Clinton even before she announced her candidacy. It is quite apparent that the media has brainwashed many of the American public into accepting the inevitable political posturing of Clinton as the Democratic nominee. Never mind Senator Sanders who is left out in the cold by the media, chastised by the establishment, misquoted by many in his own party and otherwise deemed too radical. All  because of his common sense reasoning that makes up many of the changes that really need to happen to secure the future of the United States.

It may seem just a little odd that not only in California but wherever Senator Sanders goes has drawn record crowds at his rallies while Clinton is far less approachable and has had a mediocre following  in comparison to Senator Sanders. And, yet the votes that have been made public put Clinton way over and above those of Bernie Sanders. In new York alone over 170,000 voters were somehow purged from the registered rolls. All in a precinct that is Senators Sanders home town. In Puerto Rico where much of the previous poling places were open but this time were closed. In the end voters had very limited access while waiting hours on end just to cast their votes. In Nevada and in California much of the same has occurred where the voter had so much difficulty casting their vote justifies that something is just a little to coincidental in favor of the Democratic establishments candidate of choice Hillary Clinton.

The recent primary in California shows that Greg Palast warned warned the public of what just occurred in that primary on June 7th.  Palast is the investigative reporter who more than anyone else documented how George W. Bush stole the Florida 2000 Presidential election that gave Bush the final electoral votes he needed to win the election. It was on June 1st that Palast wrote of the coming Democratic primary in California that some poll workers have been told to give No Party Preference (NPP) voters provisional ballots rather than regular ballots. He urged voters to demand a regular Democratic ballot because, as many of us know, provisional ballots are usually not counted. What this amounted to was that when Independent voters went to the polls thousands didn't know that they had to ask for a Democratic crossover ballot. In the end thousands of votes weren't cast or even counted even though new voter registration was at an all time high. What is more enlightening is the fact that over 4 million new registered voters registered as No Party Preference. For Senator Sanders this means that these NPP registered voters over 50% vote for the Senator.

The problem now is that when the media called California for Clinton over 800,000 ballots remained uncounted, including more provisional ballots and late mailed in ballots. Today, there still a large number of uncounted ballots. To top it off many thousands more eligible voters were turned away from the polls without being given a chance to vote. What is so obvious that the media is completely bias toward Clinton is the fact how can they call an election when so many ballots remain uncounted? A system that has all the earmarks of improprieties that culminate in voter fraud. A stacked deck against the one person who has put together a national movement toward ending the graft and corruption that is undermining our very fabric of democracy.

With this latest travesty in Orlando there must be now more than ever an immediate recall and ban of the sale of all assault weaponry. No longer can this nation tolerate or afford anyone from procuring any kind of weapon that has only one purpose. We are supposed to be living in an age of enlightenment and technological marvels and yet too many times in this the 21st century weapons of mass destruction fall into the hands of deranged and mentally unstable people. If we as a nation embrace such diversity there must be a willingness to do everything possible to eliminate not only the threat of bigotry, hate, and a condemnation of religion, sexual orientation, race, or ethnic origin but an all out effort to eliminated such threats.

It is to this end that Senator Sanders understands all too well. But, if the United States continues to debate, ignore, or dismiss the legitimacy of banning assault weaponry what we have seen with Sandy Hook, Columbine, the mass shooting in Norway and now in Orlando our society as we know it will disintegrate. To say we all should carry weapons only sends a message that transports society back into the caves of the Neanderthal.
