They say I know not love
That I am too young,
That it is only temporary,
That I am not yet mature enough to love.

But when you speak to me,
Laugh with me, smile at me,
Those words become petty,
And are only shadows in fog
That your presence whisks away
As the sun in my life.

So come, my sun, my light, my love,
And whisk away my shadows.
Love me until the very end,
And never leave my arms.
