Chapter 8 – Follow your heart

 

After the robber had been disposed of, Tycra sprinted toward their destination, both ready to be home. Finally the valley came into view. To Gildor a sudden hope and peace flared within his heart. Then he saw what he seeked more than anything waiting on the path. Selria stood there, obviously awaiting his return. She went to him and they embraced.

 

“You have finally returned,” she said.

 

“I followed my heart,” he told her.
