You won't do it

You won't do it

A Poem by timothygalexander

......You won't do it
......You're full of s**t
The drag begins to smooth
The burning turns to elation
.....You did it
.....I knew you would
Disbelief until the slice reddens
Then the blood oozes and the satisfaction drowns the shame
Validated and alive
.....You're no good
You feel the compulsion and the stigma is a badge
Can you look them in the eye?
......They don't like you anyway , nobody really does.
......Lets do it some more
Maybe they'll see your pain and take it from you.
.....like that's possible
It's the belief, the truth is bunk.

a poem about cutting

a piece that speaks of passion, hate, anger and love all at once. i believe that this piece must have been somewhat cathartic for you to write....those are the best pieces, I think.
