Built of Birds

Built of Birds

A Poem by timothyedward

I'm a monster
built out of birds
your body and heart
are made out of worms

I pick apart you

I fill you with color
like a crayon held in the hand of a child
I spill over your lines
no boundaries allowed on my feeling

I disappear you

there's a hole in a wall
but it doesn't hold a window
it's my mirror in the morning
the keyhole on my body
to the door I'm always shutting
