she blames it on you.

she blames it on you.

A Poem by timcampbell

how many hearts,
how many times?
clock stops and
words dropped.
and you of all
people knew.

was it really me?
was it really you?
say what you will
but don't say it.
don't tell me of
this and that.

was it really something?
or a whole lot of nothing?
was it really this real?
was it really this true?
was it really me?
was it really you?

I enjoyed reading this piece more than I did reading "I blame it on me". This piece was simple with words, but complex in meaning, which made it even better. I was kind of bored at the begining, and didn't really understand the first stanza, but then the second stanza was where I started to understand things. I like how you ended it as well, that would probably have to be my favorite part of the poem. Good write, thanks for sharing.
