A Poem by timcampbell

i suppose it's all different now,
now that you've been taken up
and all of your free will is occupied
with thoughts of someone else
and everything you've ever loved
has been given to you,
and your life is no longer static.

i suppose it's all different for you.
things aren't much different here,
the water is still running, and the same
people are dying, and all over
there's just pain.
and of everything i've been given
and all the love you've given me
coming out of this, i've just become
all mannerisms of mine are
static.
