A Poem by timcampbell

i know you've got one in there
so far from existence
it's warmth is disputable

but i've seen it; me
and i've felt it; me
you won't show it; you.

won't show it to me
i shouldn't have to cast
light upon it to see it,

and you shouldn't feel
like something so fractured
should be so clandestine.

and i've seen it, yes
i've felt it, but you've
never shown it to me.

Hm, this is very interesting. It sounded to me like someone is afraid to show they have a dark secret or something fragile and poignant. And matched with some good acoustics, it would make for a great song.
