WhenA Poem by The SkybreakerFollows the guide lines my english teacher gave us to write this for class. She loves it, and I kinda do too! When
When I was a lion I roared projecting my pride over the savannah, challenging another to fight me.
When I was a falcon, my wings spread wide billowing in the wind gliding through a thermal, sharing my beauty with all who watched me.
When I was a brook I bubbled along laughing joyously as I tripped along the riverbed, zooming along my way.
When I was a daisy I swayed in the wind turning my yellow face to the sun roots digging down deep, a rare pearl.
When I was a wolf I howled the hunt sounds and pitches rolling up and down elated by the pure connection of pack song.
Now I'm a spirit floating above, below, all around. Always there, everywhere at once, always watching. © 2008 The SkybreakerAuthor's Note
