Road Trip

No funds to fare and all the tickets are sold

Stepping to nowhere too long by far

 only beyond the threshold

In a dark blue hue, lies the North Star

Can this vision be so simple?

Like a pebble skipping across the water

I would say

Its distance just tripled

Should I then be like a stone and roll?

No regrets no losses

Accept what life tosses

Because schedule's are subject to change

And time tables to a tune they sway

In the end our struggle and everything

Becomes fair game

Win or lose

I can't go back

No matter what I choose

I must stay on track

Because for now

I’m freestanding

As some of you know I’ve been on the road for the last two years going from town to town I think I’ve reach my limit yet I am not content in where I’m at, so I wrote this in order to find closure.

Back on track? Do you really want to go there? Maybe your soul is a free spirit never wanting to be on a track at all.
I pray you find contentment and settle once and for all in a place that feels so comfortable that you think you're in heaven and so will flourish in mind and soul.
Very well put here, describing your anxiety.
So kind to share.. Thank you
Take care
Be safe
Be happy

Sometimes we look for something our whole life .. we wander far, but nothing satisfies .. Tis the journey that counts .. life is a blessing .. no matter the view ..

Ahhh! Mauricio! Like a swirl of water rushing around a plug hole this stream of consciousness work rushes to a mysterious, stammering conclusion. So apt as the narrator sees life on the road going nowhere. The future dropping away as hope erodes. But the road must lead somewhere. Take a flight to London! London is somewhere!

I am really jealous of people that can live life on the road. i would love that...
And I liked the poem a lot.

Love that last line! In the second line, it should be 'too', not 'to" 12th line, schedule should be plural, schedules. That's all grammar-wise, except commas and periods and I'm sure you know where they should go. It's a great write!

I wonder what my life would be like had I chose freedom over duty. I don't regret my choice, and yet, I envy yours! If wandering inspires you to wonder, then do so without regret, dear poet :)

What brilliant reflections of time and place... your journey to find what is home and what matters in this world... Would love to see you write the book, my friend.

HaHo,
I too have lived as a nomadic person, not that I was searching for anyone or anything, it was a time of walking upon Creation in light and felt like light. Sure glad you put down these awesome thoughts and I was able to read and enjoy.
Life and light!
