just another day

Another Day

 

I rather sit on the TV and watch the couch

Lie on a newspaper and read the world

 Remain awake and dream away 
Stand  at a bus stop and flag a plane

 train my thoughts,

For another day.

Before night falls

I say good bye

and

close my eyes

When morning calls

I'm not sure about this one but a friend of mine came out with the first line when we were messing with the remote so I wrote around it, input is appreciated thanks

I like this way of seeing the world...instead of looking at the TV or a newspaper, to look out out at the real world and see it for ourselves. This poem made me smile...time to sit on the TV.
