"

time and space

"

Calendars

A city was built upon a lake

Place a house on a rock they say

But I’ve place my life on the sand

To let the wave of water wash it all away

Two calendars coexist to count our days

Yet those dates never remain the same

Seconds become minutes, by thee hour

Only to end and start all over again

Time is space that goes without

And Also within

For there is no end

Life feeds from death

For it's no demise

Giving cause for birth

Lends forth a new beginning

We could never comprehend

While searching to find fault

In something we don't understand

I love the new perspective in this poem. Life doesn't end it simply changes direction and form. This is a great thought provoking piece and I love that you a free spirit wrote it only the way you could. It is very intellectual and outstandingly done

Yo hit a tough one here we always seek the answer and when we cannot discern it we invent it .There bye creating myths stories gods demons. But as we learn more we find it opens more questions I believe you are right time and space are one in the same.Life by its very meaning has to end in death so others can carry us into immortality in their heart So try to be remembered fondly

This could be your very best poem, Mauricio. It holds some important thoughts about/analysis of life'; you've experienced so many ups and downs, you're well aware of the transience of Man's time on earth. The two certain aspects of all lives is birth and death; we can't do much about either but we do best we can about the space between! What we leave creeps into the future, some how, some way.

interesting piece; time is the death and life of us; the two calendars dictate the essence and only we live with the illusion of its space...

I like the sentiment and logic of this poem.
It's a very meaningful poem to me.
I suppose most of us find our homes
located on sand every now and then.
Lovely poem!~

Crystal indulgence are the wording, a sheer force of gravity lends intself to the floe, a fine piece, well done, good read.

Welcome back!
A nice write about the circle of life. Birth leads to death, and in a poetic sense, may also lead to "rebirth". There is no end, but if we may look for the beginnings, our soul will sing!

hey, rusty is all part of the "the good, the bad and ugly" of writing. The important part is you get it down. This is a good piece to dig into, you'll be inspired by the brushing off of the rust. Good to see your around.
