Broken Heart

makes me think of that Earth wind and fire song "cant hide love"

Broke heart

 

Can I fix a broken heart?

How many times can I mend it?

 do I even know where to start.

Scattered are the pieces, 

around me.

on my knees I pick them up.

I wonder 

Do i need,

to release it.

If there is no love,

Then why retrieve it.

For all and all,

maybe

I should just 

leave it alone.

Frustrating to try and be someone's everything, knowing that everything you say and do is getting you no where. Sometimes the only person that can mend a broken heart is themselves.

Sad words and thoughts ..

Can't make love happen, it can't be ordered and delivered in a box tied with pink or blue ribbon. But, sometimes patience, understanding and friendship helps. I'm sure you realise that there are people who've been hurt in the past and are wary of being hurt yet more; some just aren't capable of giving themselves as completely as others want, etc. etc. Just be there for her without demeaning yourself, keep strong ..

Just a couple things I noticed...scatters (would make more sense as scattered) and If there is no love OR If there's no love (would make more sense to read if the word IS is added or change there to there's to that line) Other than that I loved the poem, short and sad...and I can feel the emotion put into it.

It's so sad when you have these strong feelings for someone and they don't return your feelings! Start out slow, take her to a movie and just spend time together and buy hope maybe something will blosom in her heart!

I like it! There is a keen sense of hopelessness here. It's always worth putting it back together though, even if it's just meant to be broken again.

Awww its sad, some of us feel like this when were in love with someone and they quite don't feel the same way... love is unpredictable, no one is an expert on love, even those who think they are because they have taken a college degree on it, still don't have a clue.. you do what you do best, be there for her if she like's it or not, you cant force someone to love you but it doesn't stop you being a friend!
