I like your words, friend.
"Can I fix a broken heart?
How many times can I mend it?
do I even know where to start.
Scattered are the pieces,
around me."
I've felt this way several times, been in this position about a million times, always feeling like my heart was broken, never knowing what to do with myself and the shattered pieces of my heart circling me. Thanks for sharing this wonderful, relatable poetry!!

yeah I feel you, love from the heart thank you for reading
unfortunately - we all experience a broken heart - it is part of life. we lose loved ones to death; to another person or just grow apart....it is the hardest lesson of life to keep a loving heart when the pieces are spread as well as the pain...there's no clear cut answer - the healing of love is an art.
I like the grip of realism that is remoulding the feelings of grief in Mauricio's lost love. It is good that he sees the sense of letting go as wisdom conquers passion. Funny thing is that many girls who turn down such honest uncomplicated love end up regretting they did so bitterly. Lovely poem that is a lesson to the myriads of broken hearted.
This is so sad
how can you mend a broken heart?
There is a saying
a new nail will pull the old nail out
Lol that's just a saying
It takes time to heal a broken heart and the best way is set her free
If it comes back to you it was meant to be
Your words remind me of the song
"How can you mend a broken heart?”
I love this poem excellent writing
You share that deep sense of brokeness when love fades away... and in that a longing to find wholeness again. Painted in such pain, yet with that tinge of hope.. waiting for now to see what comes.
It would be nice if the ones we loved loved as back equally, and sometimes it happens, but many times not. Tough situation, I hope its gets better, but whatever the case, keep writing like this. It may be simple but its real.
