AcceptanceA Poem by Mauricio Montoyabe true to thy selfAcceptance Acceptance, acceptance, acceptance, How much can I bite before I Chew? I’ve been through this dilemma, Yet there’s always something new. Can a bark be louder and more than it is true? Coming from all directions, I really thought I knew. Running with this question, I beat around the bushel. With hopes I’ll find the answer That for me would seem so crucial, Yet I’ll cry, I’ll laugh and smile, For Me, my self, and I, And Put away that pride. To Catch my breath and sigh.
